The son of the late Elijah Pinckney, Sr. and the Josephine Glover Pinckney, was born on December 15, 1952. "Benji" as he was affectionately known, was a 1970 graduate of Laing High School, a 1974 graduate of Hampton University and owner of Pinckney Financial Services, in Atlanta, Ga..
